I think an adorable redhead in a beautiful field with tons of watermelons might just be a photographer's dream!! This was SUCH a fun shoot to plan and execute, and little Miss Alli was the *perfect* model!
I took Alli's first birthday cake smash pictures a year ago, so when her mom asked me to plan a shoot for her second birthday, I knew I needed to think outside the box... After some brainstorming, we landed on a watermelon picnic theme, and it turned out even more adorable than I'd envisioned!
Of course, behind the scenes, this was quite a group effort: Alli brought along her own "crew" - mom, Nana, and Papa - to transport watermelons and keep her smiling that sweet, authentic grin. Not to worry though, everyone got "paid" with plenty of juicy fruit to take home! (We had SO much watermelon!! Yum!)
